Hi, I’m Ewan and I started my business in the IT field in 2013. I provide superior customer service and a personalised approach to computer support.

I previously operated under my business name of Syntax Computing, until 2021 when I renamed it to Layer 8 Tech.

I work full-time as a Communications Technician during the hours of 7am – 5pm, weekdays. I run my business after-hours, as well as weekends. This gives you the flexibility as a customer to utilise my expertise at a time that suits you and when alternative solutions are limited.

I can travel out to your home or business for on-site support or arrange pick up of your device and repair it in my workshop. I can also provide remote online/phone support.
